Adipurush first week collection

Adipurush Day 1 Box Office Prediction: Prabhas’ Film Likely To Cross Rs 50 Crore Mark On Opening Day

Adipurush, an upcoming film, is expected to break box office records, with an estimated opening day collection of 40 to 50 crore on June 16. Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan star in the film, which is directed by Om Raut.

Opening day prediction

Girish Johar, a producer and film business expert, predicted that the film would open massively, owing to the film’s buzz and the fact that it will be released on over 4000 screens across all languages in India. “The new and revised trailer was well received by the audience.” It is based on the Ramayan, our legendary epic. Because it is a family film, I anticipate a large opening that might range between 45 and 50 crores (or even more) for all languages combined.”

Opening weekend prediction

He also stated that if the picture fails to reach expectations, the numbers may fall throughout the weekend. “If the film is good, second-day collections could reach 60 crores, and day three numbers could reach 70 crores.” Assuming that the abroad (audience) enjoys the film, Adipurush can earn between 150 and 170 crores for the weekend in all languages. However, if the film is not excellent enough and the audience does not relate to it, the figures may be unattainable.”

Ticket price rise

Several multiplexes have raised their Adipurush ticket rates, while luxury seats in Delhi’s multiplexes have risen over 2000 rupees. Girish commented on the impact of such adjustments, saying, “Yes, the prices have been raised, and Prabhas is a huge star in the south, so (they wish to capitalise on his popularity).”

However, it is all about expectations – the price increase can either benefit or repel the audience if the film does not provide value for money. “I really hope the movie turns out well.”

Advance booking for Adipurush

Adipurush advance booking began on June 11, and the film has already grossed over 3.5 crore through advance ticket sales in India.

According to the film’s producers, Adipurush earned approximately $16,000 in advance bookings in the Australian and New Zealand markets roughly a week before its release.

Adipurush, which was heavily influenced by the Hindu mythological epic Ramayan, stars Prabhas as Raghav (another name for Lord Ram) and Kriti Sanon as Janaki (Sita). Saif portrays Lankesh, the lord of Lanka, Ravan. The Central Board of picture Certification awarded the picture a U certificate.

Adipurush, produced by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles, Pramod, and Vamsi of UV Creations, is set to be released internationally on June 16, 2023.
