This unsold seat will be dedicated to Lord Hanuman in order to honour people’s beliefs.
Adipurush Team dedicates 1 seat in every theater to lord hanuman
Om Raut’s upcoming film will be released in theatres on June 16. The film will be released in five languages: Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
The makers of the film have declared that one seat in each theatre would be devoted to Lord Hanuman. Every screening will have an empty seat.
“Lord Hanuman appears wherever the Ramayana is recited,” they said. It is our conviction. To honour this belief, every theatre showing Prabhas‘ Rama-starrer Adipurush would save one seat for Lord Hanuman and not sell it. Hear the history of paying homage to Rama’s most ardent devotee. We began this wonderful work in an unorthodox manner. We must all see the Adipurusha erected with tremendous grandeur in the presence of Lord Hanuman.”
All about the Movie
This is a mythological film based on the Ramayana, an Indian epic. Om Raut wrote and directed the film. Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage will play supporting parts alongside Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan.
The film, which was made on a massive budget of Rs 500 crore, has encountered numerous setbacks since its inception. It has seen it all, from Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Ravana is compassionate’ remark to condemnation for shoddy VFX. The film is now slated for a worldwide theatrical release in many languages.
