On Sunday, comedian Puneet Kumar, commonly known as Lord Puneet Superstar, was evicted from Bigg Boss OTT 2’s house. The decision was made just 12 hours after the episode premiered on Saturday. He performed some unpleasant acts in the house, such as pouring phenyl on his head or smearing toothpaste on his face, which irritated his housemates.
He did, however, remark before entering the house that host Salman would require medication for the headache he would give him. He also discussed the kind of persons who enter the house.
Puneet Kumar’s comments
They try to come across as someone they are not,” he told Indian Express. They also continue to abuse and disrespect women. But I’m known as ‘Lord’ for a reason. I am honest, and I am confident that fans would vote for me because of this.”
“I will caution him to have enough Disprin in stock,” he said of Salman. He’d need one every time he heard me speak. My conversations will undoubtedly anger him. I’m sure he’ll wonder where the makers brought me from.”
Other contestants on the Bigg Boss OTT 2
Apart from Puneet, other contestants were Falaq Naaz, Akanksha Puri, Avinash Sachdev, Palak Pursvani, Jiya Shankar, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya Siddiqui. Cyrus Broacha and Pooja Bhatt also came in.
Host Salman’s message
On Friday, Salman briefly spoke with the media and revealed what the forthcoming season of the controversial reality programme has in store for his followers. Salman’s hosting stint on Bigg Boss OTT 2 comes just a few months after he stated at a recent event that Bigg Boss OTT 2 content should be scrutinised, with the elimination of any content containing vulgarity or nudity, and he emphasised the need for meticulous monitoring of such material.
At the press meeting of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Salman expressed similar sentiments. “Main OTT pe bhi kuch aisa nahin hone dunga jo culture ke khilaaf hai (I won’t let anyone do something that is against our culture)…. I think guidelines have also been implemented on Bigg Boss OTT 2 which led to the content’s improvement,” he said.
