India earned the right to host the competition, while South Africa, Afghanistan, Australia, England, Bangladesh, New Zealand, and Pakistan qualified by placing in the top eight of the 2020–2023 World Cup Super League. The two remaining teams will be revealed at the World Cup qualifiers being played in Zimbabwe right now between Sri Lanka, the West Indies, Ireland, Nepal, the Netherlands, Oman, Scotland, the United Arab Emirates, and Zimbabwe.
