Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a shift in senior management

The senior management positions (SMP) at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) have changed. The Indian IT behemoth alerted Indian stock exchanges of the adjustments in its exchange communication. Due to his impending retirement, TCS executive vice president K Ananth Krishnan will leave SMP. According to the exchange filing, TCS stated that Ananth Krishnan will leave SMP on July 31, 2023, due to his retirement in October 2023.

The Tata group company went on to say that Dr Harrick Vin, chief services innovation officer, will take over as an SMP on August 1, 2023. Dr. Harrick Vin is a Tata Consultancy Services fellow who has worked in academia and industry for over three decades. Harrick was previously the CEO of TCS Digitate.

Tata Consultancy Services also announced that Rajashree R would be stepping down as SMP. Shankar Narayanan, V Rajanna, Ashok Pai, Reguraman Ayyaswamy, and Siva Ganesan have been named new SMPs, effective July 31, 2023.

  • Dr. Harrick Vin

Dr. Harrick Vin is a TCS Fellow and the Chief Services Innovation Officer at TCS. He has over 30 years of experience in academics and industry and has been with TCS for 18 years. Harrick was previously the CEO of TCS Digitate. He is a member of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) and an IIT Mumbai alumnus. He spent 15 years as a Professor of Computer Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin before joining TCS.

  • Shankar Narayanan

Shankar Narayanan has worked with TCS for over 30 years and is a Senior Vice President. At TCS, he was the Global Head of the Retail, CPG, Travel, and Hospitality businesses, as well as the Business Excellence & Transformation of big accounts. Shankar has also served as the Head of TCS’ UK and Ireland Markets, where he was in charge of driving business strategy, sales, operations, and delivery, as well as cultivating executive connections with customers.

  • V Rajanna

TCS’s Senior Vice President and Head of the Communications, Media, and Technology businesses is V Rajanna. He has worked with the organization for over 29 years and has 32 years of experience in the IT industry. Rajanna was previously the Head of the Technology Business Unit. He has also served as the Head of TCS’ Hyderabad office, where he was instrumental in its growth.

  • Siva Ganesan

TCS Senior Vice President Siva Ganesan is the Global Head of the Microsoft Business Unit. Siva has been with the company for over 32 years and has worked in sales, solutioning, operations, program management, delivery, and global account management. He previously led TCS’s Travel, Transportation, and Hospitality operations.
